Location: Chile (Fully remote)

We're looking for a team member who is deeply familiar with the JavaScript testing ecosystem, has great attention to detail, and exhibits an ownership mindset. As one of the first QA engineers on our team, you will play a crucial role in establishing the foundations of our testing code base while being immersed in a culture dedicated to growth, learning, and advancement. We are seeking someone who is highly coachable, able to make sound decisions in the face of ambiguity, and takes full ownership of their work. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright to ensure comprehensive coverage of our web applications
Collaborate with manual QA team, software engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios
Investigate and analyze test failures, provide detailed bug reports, and work with the development team to resolve issues promptly
Continuously improve and optimize our test automation framework, focusing on reliability, scalability, and efficiency

What We're Looking For:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with the testing ecosystem, including Playwright (ideally), Selenium, or Cypress
2+ years of professional experience in automation QA engineering using a UI testing framework
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
